The warmer weather has us looking forward to Spring! And what better way to celebrate the season than to prepare for the joyous return of flowers, sunshine and song birds!

Buddy Lohr, a longtime friend of Bob’s and fellow North Carolina craftsman, is known for his loving, spiritual personality, and especially for his beautiful, whimsical birdhouses. Buddy spends hours on each, working diligently in his colorful workshop to make sure each birdhouse is unique and special. He personally designs, builds, paints and adds special touches , like the hand-coiled copper bike leaning in front of the “Bike Shop” or the gently hammered copper details that glimmer in the sunlight.

While these birdhouses vary in size, they all have enourmous personality! Each birdhouse is made almost entirely from natural, recycled materials, are 100% functional, and are built to withstand the weather to protect many, many bird families for years to come! Buddy, like Bob, feels it’s important to take care of the wildlife in your own backyard. Each birdhouse features either a post-ready stand or a copper hanger attached to the top, as well as a removable section for easy cleaning! (Post is not included; mother nature will provide the birds.)
